They will learn to listen, they are meant to be like that.. will they listen? Are they actually?

It's super important to keep your furry friend healthy by keeping them active. Agility training, like running, jumping, and obstacle courses, is awesome, but remember to do it in moderation and consider their age. Just like any other mammal in the animal kingdom - whether human, pet, or wildlife - they all go through different life stages. When they're young, they're more prone to injuries because their bones aren't fully developed yet, even though their energy and cuteness might make us think otherwise. If you watch videos of animals parenting their young, you'll see that they do their best to keep their little ones safe and comfy, especially in the wild. As the young ones grow, they're given more freedom but are also taught when to behave. It's important to know how old your pet is so you can be prepared for any health issues that might come up at different stages of their life. As a pet owner, it's your job to watch out for them and make sure they don't get too carried away with their energy. Teaching your pet to listen to you is a key lesson as they grow up. Remember, just because we're humans, it doesn't mean we can't learn animal social cues. You can take cues from how animals raise their young and apply similar techniques to parenting your pet. It's a great way to ensure a safe and healthy upbringing for your furry companion!

Main things to consider when training

  • Voice tone according to situation acceptable behaviour vs. not acceptable behaviour from your pet

  • Indicating pain

  • Indicating Stop vs. it's ok continue

  • Watch me! have them focus on you and listen. As the alpha/parent/leader you need their attention.

  • Be consistent. It is always a training time unless sleeping or playing.
